When it comes to our products, we have always strived for the best quality, and our scans have not been the exception. /*For this reason, from the very begining, since the capturing process, to the tiling and LOD creation, it’s always been a long journey of research and development.*/

At some point we started having a lot of limitations when it comes to baking. We tried every tool in the market without success. Memory limitations (due to the large polygon counts our scans have), slow bake times and poor quality in the results. The last one, sometimes because the lack of precision and poor techniques used by these tools.

In my last post I only scratched the surface about Baker, our

Baker is always in active development so there’s always new versions coming out with new features, improvements and bug fixes every week.
